Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Statement
Agajanian, McFall, Weiss, Tetreault & Heider LLP (the "Firm") is committed to providing equal access to its services, offices, communications, and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. This statement describes how the Firm approaches accessibility, how to request a reasonable accommodation, and the Firm's commitment to compliance with applicable law.
Our commitment
The Firm supports the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended (42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq.), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act where applicable, and California law, including the Unruh Civil Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 51 et seq.), the Disabled Persons Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 54 et seq.), and the Fair Employment and Housing Act (Cal. Gov. Code § 12900 et seq.). The Firm does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the services it provides, in access to its facilities, or in employment.
Digital accessibility
The Firm designs and maintains AgajanianLaw.com with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as its reference standard, the benchmark referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for web accessibility. This includes keyboard-operable navigation and forms, compatibility with screen readers, text alternatives for meaningful images, visible focus indicators, sufficient color contrast, captions or text equivalents for any audio content, and the ability to pause motion.
Every page includes an accessibility control panel (the Vitruvian Man button in the lower-left corner, also opened with Alt+A) that lets visitors adjust text size, contrast, color, spacing, fonts, cursor size, motion, and read-aloud. See the Accessibility Statement for a full description of these controls and the site's technical approach.
Blind, low-vision, deaf, and hard-of-hearing visitors
The site is built to work with screen readers, magnification software, and browser zoom. The site contains no spoken audio; the homepage film is silent and can be paused. Visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing can contact the Firm entirely in writing through the contact form, or by telephone through the California Relay Service (dial 711) at 323-993-0198.
Reasonable accommodations
The Firm will provide reasonable accommodations and auxiliary aids and services to clients, prospective clients, witnesses, visitors, and job applicants with disabilities so they can communicate with the Firm and participate in its services effectively. Examples include:
- Documents in alternative formats, such as large print or accessible electronic files.
- Qualified sign language interpreters or real-time captioning for meetings, depositions coordinated by the Firm, and calls.
- Communication by email, text relay, or video relay in place of voice telephone.
- Accessible meeting locations, extra time, or scheduled breaks during meetings.
- Assistance completing intake forms, conflict screens, or employment applications.
- Adjustments to the application and interview process for candidates for employment.
Accommodations are provided at no charge. Where a specific request would impose an undue burden or fundamentally alter the nature of a service, the Firm will work with you to identify an effective alternative.
How to request an accommodation
To request an accommodation, call 323-993-0198 (relay users may dial 711) or submit a request through the contact form. Please describe the accommodation you need and, if possible, the date of any meeting or deadline. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis. Requests are handled confidentially and shared only with those who need the information to provide the accommodation. The Firm aims to respond within two business days and asks for as much advance notice as practical for interpreter or captioning services.
Job applicants may also make requests at any stage of the hiring process. See the Careers page and the Applicant Privacy Notice.
Use the request form below to tell the Firm what you need.
Service animals and physical access
Service animals are welcome at the Firm's offices. If you need accessible parking, entrance assistance, or other physical access arrangements for a visit to 346 North Larchmont Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90004-3012, please let the Firm know when scheduling.
Feedback and concerns
If you encounter a barrier on this website or in any interaction with the Firm, or believe an accommodation was not provided, contact the Firm at 323-993-0198 or through the contact form. Please identify the page, document, or interaction and the difficulty. The Firm will acknowledge your message, provide the information or service you need in an accessible way, and work to correct the underlying issue. Retaliation against anyone who requests an accommodation or raises an accessibility concern is prohibited.
Ongoing compliance
Accessibility is an ongoing obligation. The Firm reviews its website, forms, documents, and practices as they change, trains personnel on accommodation requests, and updates this statement as standards and law evolve. Some third-party content linked from this site may not be under the Firm's control; the Firm will help you obtain that information in an accessible format on request.
